Patience, Pace and Love
Ephesians 4:2
Today
Notice one person whose pace regularly frustrates you. Keep the necessary expectation, but remove the irritation: give them enough time to answer, learn or finish without unnecessary pressure.
A prayer for today
Father, give us patience with people whose pace is different from ours. Help us keep healthy expectations without making irritation the atmosphere around them. Teach us when to encourage greater responsibility and when simply to give more time. Let this household value people more than speed, and help us move through ordinary delays with kindness and self-control. In Jesus' name, Amen.
